Blogging brings new friends

Does the internet really make a difference on how we are thinking about the world, browsing and consuming information, obtaining knowledge, or just building new partnerships, even finding new climbing friends? My answer is now definitely yes. Originally, I am a bit sceptic in some aspects of technology revolution. People seem to spend more and more time with their computers. And what a paradox, expanding level of online communication perhaps rather destroys traditional physical interactions beetween human beings. By my oppinion, keeping in touch in the old fashioned personal way is indispensable for humans as the need of contacting each other is based on deeply coded biologycal routines.

Marcel and Sandra from Netherlands just googled and read my summer post on kirandulo blog featuring Hungarian climbing sites. They were planning to spend their holiday in Budapest, Hungary, to visit the popular Sziget festival and some climbing places nearby. We contacted, met each other and spent a nice climbing morning together. Than we had the opportunity for some chatting, we introduced ourselves and our own lives to each other, we could exchange ideas, too. A bottle of Hungarian wine, some chips and cheese, do you remember, guys? :) Marcel is interested in computing as he is a java developer and Sandra is a freelance photographer, let me suggest to check her website. Thank you guys, it was a pleasure to meet you. See you next time in Amsterdam.

Please share your feedback, oppinion, ideas.
Keep in mind, posts in English are coming on a regular basis. Stay tuned.

Hi Greg,

Cool to read your blog again, and i agree that the world is getting smaller with the internet.

Keep up the blogging and the climbing, and we'll meet again somewhere sometime!!!
